FAQs
Will there be parking and can I leave my car overnight?
Yes! There is a car park at the venue with ample space. You may leave your car in the venue car park over
night but it must be collected by 9am the next morning.
Will there be a dress code?
I would not ask you to dress a certain way that does not make you feel comfortable! However, as it is a
garden wedding, spring colours would make you look beautiful in photos! Don't forget to bring a shawl or
jacket in case it's a little chilly. I will also warn you that there is a lot of grass so make sure your
shoes are suitable.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one or my children?
We are only able to extend an invitation to those who have been specifically named on the invitation.
Although we appreciate that you have special people in your lives who may love to accompany you, we would
like to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. We hope that you will understand our decision and use this
occasion to let your hair down and enjoy yourselves!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony is taking place in the garden and so will cocktail hour that follows. The wedding breakfast
will be held indoors, inside the music room. This will then transform into the reception room.
Will there be food in the evening?
Of course! We love to eat so there will be a separate evening hog roast served along with cake! There will
even be marshmallows to toast over a firepit as the light begins to fade in the evening.
Can I bring a gift?
You are wonderful for thinking about giving us presents! We are actually very fortunate to have everything
we need in our lives currently however a donation to our honeymoon wouldn't go amiss!
Is it an open bar?
Do you know how much a drink is nowadays? There's not enough money in the world to cover how much you will
all drink! So, bring your cards ladies and gentlemen and treat yourselves. Thankfully, our venue has priced
drinks very reasonably.
Do I have to bring cash or cards to make a payment?
Our venue has embraced the cashless future. They accept most major cards and contactless but not cash I'm
afraid.
Is the venue accessible for all?
The wedding celebrations all happen on one level so everyone can easily flow in and out of any room. The
walk from the car park is stony but there is step-free access to the property.
